Edward Scissorhands

Absolute nostalgia and love for all things strange bid me to buy this movie after I had not seen it in fourteen years. Upon finding it in the local HMV (and after doing a strange little victory dance inbetween the sales racks, and almost hugging the cynical and slightly antisocial british cashier) I immediately bought and began to watch it. All I have to say is- don't trust what you believed when you were a kid. I was 8 years old when I first saw this movie, and my impression was somewhat hazy. After watching it a second time, now that I'm 17 years old, I have to say that Edward Scissorhands is not the strange and scary film I saw when I was younger- strange yes, but not scary.
Edward Scissorhands is a sad, beautiful, masterpiece of a movie that doesn't recieve as much credit as it should.
I can proudly say that it is my favourite movie of all time, and I recommend it to everyone.

Edward Scissorhands was an excellent movie, and your absolutely right it didnt get get much credit. I thought I was a horror film when I was a kid. Up until now that is, I dont find the movie at all strange but unique in a fantadtic way. Plus I think Edward is Hott so *cough cough* no comment ^.^
